Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Toyota Prius than the MINI Hardtop, due to its greater head- and legroom. Offering just a little more front head- and legroom than the MINI Hardtop, drivers may find the Toyota Prius a little roomier and somewhat more comfortable.

Convenience
The Toyota Prius requires fewer visits to the gas station than the MINI Hardtop, making it more convenient to drive.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Whether you pick the MINI Hardtop or the Toyota Prius, it's going to cost you about the same.

Dimensions
Since the MINI Hardtop is much slimmer than the Toyota Prius, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. If you go with the MINI Hardtop, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the Toyota Prius.

Handling
The MINI Hardtop has a larger turning radius than the Toyota Prius, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
In terms of horsepower, it's basically a tie between the MINI Hardtop and the Toyota Prius.

Powertrain
Due to its much higher torque, the engine of the MINI Hardtop does a much better job of transmitting power to the wheels than the Toyota Prius.

Utility
The MINI Hardtop has less seating than the Toyota Prius, making the Toyota Prius the better choice if you need to chauffeur many passengers.
